Jennifer J. Qonja

Jennifer Qonja's practice focuses on representing and advising health care providers and professionals in business transactions, employment agreements, regulatory matters such as Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Law, third-party payer audits and reimbursement, professional license actions, and other matters involving the health care industry. 

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Qonja worked for several years as an attorney at a highly regarded criminal defense firm. Ms. Qonja represented clients in a variety of matters including commercial and civil litigation, and also represented clients in felony and criminal cases at both the trial and appellate levels. She has an extensive background as a research and legal writing attorney.

Ms. Qonja is active in professional and community organizations.  In 2017, she was invited to serve as a barrister member of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law’s chapter of the American Inns of Court.  The American Inns of Court comprises distinguished local judges, lawyers, law professors and students.  The mission of the American Inns of Court is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility and legal skills.
