Derricka Peoples Black assists the firm’s health law attorneys with document review, drafting provider agreements, and research pertaining to regulatory matters involving the health care industry.
Ms. Peoples Black graduated from University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Arts degree and furthered her education with a Paralegal Certificate from Oakland Community College. She also holds specialized training as a civil and domestic mediator from the Oakland Mediation Center. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Peoples Black worked in various areas of law such as civil, criminal, probate, family and franchising.
